OTT Hydrometry, of
Germany, provides devices for unattended monitoring of surface
and ground water levels, and also precipitation. Data is
stored in internal memory, and can either be downloaded later
or accessed real-time in conjunction with NexSens
communication devices and software.
The history of
OTT reflects innovation and progress in Hydrometry. In 1873
Mr. Albert OTT established the Institute for Precision and
Measuring Technology, A.OTT. The first instrument, a current
meter from 1875, is still recognized as a cornerstone in the
field of hydrometric measurement technology. To produce
